The whitetail deer population is good in Unit 15. We have an ideal mix of CRP, cropland,
and wooded creek areas that provide an
abundace of food and habitat. Most of our
properties are 160 - 320 acres in size!.

Out of state hunters must apply for a permit during the May Lottery Draw. At that time you must choose either Rifle, Archery or Muzzleload. If you are not successful during the early Muzzleload season, you may use a Muzzleload gun during Rifle season.

Irish Creek Outfitters is in Unit 15. We do have property in Units 5, 6, & 13. Before you apply in the April Lottery, you should check with us to help decide which unit to choose for the adjacent unit. Each hunter may choose 1 adjacent unit.

All deer hunts are 5 days, semi-guided. You may bring your own tree stand, ladder stand, or ground blind. We have stands and blinds available with advance notice. We have facilities to help process your kill. A local processor is 4 miles away if you want professional cutting/packaging. Hunter orange is required.
